Dedicate a Flag to a Veteran

This Memorial Day Weekend, we invite you to participate in a powerful tribute to our nation's heroes. The Field of Honor at the Rochester NH Common will feature 550 full-size American flags on 8-foot poles, creating a striking display of patriotism and remembrance. This event will allow thousands of visitors to walk among the flags, reflecting on the heroism and sacrifice of our military men and women. We are reaching out to businesses like yours to sponsor flags dedicated to New Hampshire and Maine veterans who gave their lives in service to our country. Approximately 200 flags will represent veterans from these two states who made the ultimate sacrifice. The remaining 350 flags will be available for dedication to a specific veteran of your choosing. Both living and deceased veterans can be honored, as the living stand guard over their fallen brothers and sisters.

Why Sponsor a Flag?

• Honor Fallen Heroes: Your sponsorship will help us honor those who died in service to our country. We provide a list of New Hampshire and Maine veterans who were killed in action, and you can select how many flags you'd like to sponsor. We handle the details, from preparation to placement.
• Showcase Your Business’s Patriotism: Each flag will be accompanied by a laminated card attached to the pole, listing the veteran’s name, branch, rank, and the name of your business as the sponsor. Your company’s support will be seen by thousands of visitors paying their respects over the weekend.
• Honor Your Veteran Employees: You can also dedicate a flag to honor living veterans or active-duty military employees at your business. Their flag will stand guard over their fallen comrades, serving as a meaningful gesture of respect. It’s a wonderful opportunity to show your appreciation for their service.
• Promote Your Business: Flags will be prominently displayed and easily identifiable, with a map and volunteers available to guide visitors to each flag. Your support will be acknowledged publicly and cherished by those who visit.

You can sponsor flags easily online at vouchersforveterans.org/events or by mailing in your form with payment. Each dedicated flag costs $40.00. Multiple flags dedicated by your company will be grouped together within the display. The event is open to the public and is free of charge, creating an ideal environment for your business to showcase its commitment to honoring our veterans.
