Milestone celebration includes City of Dover proclamation and $1,300 raised for Meals on Wheels
Cinco’s Cantina recently celebrated a major community milestone: more than $100,000 donated to local schools, nonprofits, and youth and civic organizations across Dover, Rochester, and Epping.
Cinco’s has reached the milestone through sponsorships, in-kind giving, and its popular Fiesta Fundraiser program, which donates 20 percent of event sales directly to participating organizations.
To celebrate, Cinco’s brought together city officials, community leaders, nonprofit partners, and special guests for its $100K Strong Community Fiesta. During the event, City of Dover Mayor Dennis Shanahan presented Cinco’s with an official City of Dover Proclamation recognizing the restaurant’s commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.
The giving continued that evening, with guests raising more than $1,300 for Meals on Wheels through a door prize raffle featuring prizes provided by Cinco’s, including a $200 Cinco’s Cantina gift card.
“This milestone belongs to our guests and our community partners,” said the Cinco’s Cantina Leadership Team. “Reaching $100,000 is something we’re incredibly proud of, but what matters most is what those dollars have helped make possible right here in our communities.”
And Cinco’s isn’t stopping at $100,000. The restaurant plans to continue growing its community partnerships and helping local organizations raise funds through its Fiesta Fundraiser program.
