Ambassadors promote and enhance the benefits of Chamber membership, serve as the liaison between the membership, the board of directors, and the staff to ensure member satisfaction.
To organize and produce a gala dinner and and awards events where members may unite socially as well as present the Chamber Business of the Year, Nonprofit of the Year, and Citizen of the Year awards. Meetings are scheduled as determined by the committe.
Conduct major fund raiser through sale of raffle tickets for choice of cash or motorcycle and establish raffle event. Meetings are scheduled from January through August at 8am as determined by the committee.
Plan an event for businesses to showcase their business and provide them with an opportunity to meet with potential employees.
To organize and plan annual golf events in June and September. Meetings are scheduled as determined by the committee.
To organize and produce the Annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony events to kick off the holiday season. The Holiday Parade is held the first Sunday in December of each year and the Tree Lighting Ceremony is held the Friday evening prior to the parade.

The Chamber Board of Directors is responsible for the governance and policy-making for the organization. They control the organization's property and are responsible for its finances and for the direction of its affairs. Chamber Directors are individually and collectively responsible to the Chamber membership.

The mission of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Council is to represent, monitor and advocate members’ concerns to local, regional, state and federal governmental organizations, on issues that affect the economic well-being and quality of life in the greater Rochester area.
