HBL Insurance, in conjunction with the businesses and residents in Foster’s Place and the Dover Fire Department locations, recently held a Thanksgiving food drive and collected items to benefit the Dover Middle School and Dover Food Pantry. Hundreds of items were collected and distributed between the two organizations to include canned goods, non-perishable items and individually wrapped items for the Middle School.
To add some fire and friendly competition to the food drive, HBL challenged the local fire departments to see which location could collect the most items and be crowned victor and celebrate with a pizza luncheon. The 6th St station took the competition by storm and will have a year’s worth of bragging rights. By with such a great cause supported by so many, everyone wins!
