Open House

Start a Career in Advanced Manufacturing Attend Great Bay Community College’s Open House in Rochester Curious about a career in Advanced Manufacturing? Learn about skills needed to start working in industries that manufacture products right here in New Hampshire including aerospace, marine, auto, sporting goods and more. Great Bay Community College will be hosting an Open House at their Advanced Technology & Academic Center (ATAC) in Rochester on Saturday, November 3 from 9AM – 11AM. The event will include a faculty and staff meet and greet as well as tours of the facility which houses classrooms, quiet study areas and a 17000 square foot advanced composites lab. Information will be available on the advanced composites manufacturing (ACM) program. In as little as 6-months, students can complete the certificate designed specifically to train Composites Technicians and Composites Operators and meet the needs of area manufacturers. Information will also be available on programs in Nondestructive Testing and Computer Numeric Control. A representative from the college’s WorkReadyNH program, a free program geared toward helping job seekers and career builders improve their skills will also be available to answer questions.
