On Tuesday August 4, 2015 from 5-8 PM in the Union Street Parking Lot, the Rochester National Night Out Planning Committee will be hosting, with the support from many community organizations and businesses, the annual Rochester’s National Night Out.
National Night is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
There are several ways you may participate including setting up an informational table for the community resource fair, sponsoring a food booth to give community members a taste of Rochester or, participating in our entertainment by showcasing your talent. You may also volunteer for the event by helping to set-up, clean-up, staff the information table or serve in our dunk booth.
