Chris Bonoli's Blues Monsters concert at The Castle on Charles

Come for some great blues & rock in the amazing acoustics of The Castle!  This fun and talented band really gets a crowd moving!
An exceptionally talented singer and guitar player, Chris Bonoli thrives on blues music but also connects with blue grass, jazz and good ole' rock and roll.   She is influenced and plays music by Earth Wind & Fire, Led Zeppelin, Santana, James Taylor, Carole King, Chicago, Bonnie Rait, BB King, Tower of Power, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and Johnny Cash. 
Chris' Blues Monsters provide the groove and will get the crowd dancing!  They are Syd Brooks on bass, Marty Wintje on lead guitar, and Jim Mastromario on drums.  They are a steaming melting pot of electric rock & roll, with echoes of big band swing, New Orleans Jazz and 'street band' music, modified folk, and of course sizzling Chicago as well as Delta Blues.
The Castle tavern opens at 7pm with drinks, appetizers and sandwiches, and the music will be from 8 to 11pm.  Cost is $5.   Other upcoming concerts include Jon Pousette Dart, the Pete Person Trio, The Funky Divas of Gospel and the Don Campbell bands' Dan Fogelberg holiday tribute.
