Prescription Drug Abuse: A Growing Problem in New Hampshire

Prescription drug abuse is New Hampshire's fastest growing drug problem. According to the Governor's Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention, New Hampshire ranks second in the country for rate of young people reporting non-medical use of pain relievers in the last year.

Join us as Bob Pease of PeopleCare discusses this growing trend in New Hampshire and the many ways the state is working to combat this issue.

*An overview of PeopleCare and the ways they work to raise awareness of prescription drug abuse
*An overview of activities used to raise awareness and combat abuse through educational classes, presentations and outreach
*Information on partnerships with other drug free organizations statewide.
