AIRWalk 2017

For the last 5 years, Arts in Reach teens, adults, staff, volunteers, artists, community members, and dogs have gathered at the AIR mural on Jewell Court to embark on a 5k walk through downtown Portsmouth. This year due to construction at our Jewell Court mural we are having the AIRWalk in DOVER! Walkers can be sponsored, and all funds go directly AIR's programs. This is a great chance to enjoy the beautiful spring weather while also spreading the word about and supporting AIR! Arts In Reach (AIR) a local non-profit that provides free mentoring and art programs to "at-risk" teen girls ages 13-18 from Strafford and Rockingham Counties. We serve approximately 100 teens a year, with close to half coming from Rochester, Somersworth, and Dover. Our programs in theatre, dance singing/songwriting, visual art, and creative writing give participants an opportunity to express themselves in a safe and nurturing environment. The $15 fee can also be paid with cash or check in advance via mail or in person, before the walk on May 13th. All AIRwalk participants will be asked to sign a waiver prior to walking. This is your chance to spread the word about AIR and help raise money for the programs you love. Your $15 registration fee CAN BE FUNDED BY DONATIONS! The fundraising team/individual who raises the most money by May 13th will get a choice from awesome raffle items! There will be face painting, games, food and all sorts of fun!
