Job Title: Power Boats & Marine Powersports Technician

We are renowned for providing top-tier service and support for all types of pontoon boats, runabout boats, ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, etc. Rochester Sports Center is also a leading specialist in MerCruiser and Mercury Marine products and all brands of outboard and sterndrive boats.
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and resolute powersports technicians to join our dynamic service team. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in Mercury Marine and MerCruiser powered boats, with basic understanding of 12V electrical systems. ‘Should also be capable of fuel systems, and carburetors cleaning. A good understanding of ATVs, UTVs and snowmobiles will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various makes and models of powersports equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, suspension, electrical, fuel, and track system issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-season inspections, tune-ups, and winterization services, including oil change
- Read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and wiring diagrams.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs, estimates, and completed work.
- Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly using our dealership management software.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Order necessary parts and maintain inventory control for common components.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies, models, and service procedures through ongoing training.
