Explore how temperament, developmental stages, and reinforcement shape the way children act and react. This free workshop is organized by and hosted at the Children’s Museum of NH as part of their Wonder & Wellness Speaker Series. Today’s focus is to help parents/caregivers make sense of challenging moments and offer practical approaches they can use right away. Gina Apgar, LICSW is a clinical social worker with 20 years’ experience working with children and families in various roles including early education, home visiting, family support, healthcare, and advocacy. Pre-registration is required for these workshops, which include a simple pizza dinner (5–5:30pm), as well as limited free childcare for ages 4 and up (must use bathroom independently) for participating families during the speaker presentation (5:30–6:30pm). https://childrens-museum.org/programs/wonder-and-wellness/
