NOTICE TO ROCHESTER RESIDENTS A new Lions Club is coming to your community. The New Hampshire Lions of District 44-H have chosen Rochester to be added to the growing list of clubs in our State. Our goal is to organize a group of concerned business people, residents and leaders in your community to help those in need. Lions Clubs International is the oldest service organization in the world with over 1.46 million Lions worldwide. Lions Clubs International was founded in 1917, 103 years ago. The all new Rochester Club will help kick off the next 100 plus years of service. Please join us Tuesday, February 11 at the Rochester Public Library, 65 S. Main St. 6:30pm-7:30pm, and listen to our special guest speaker tell you about a heartwarming story of helping a six year old first grader with low vision issues, and the family having no insurance to purchase the needed equipment, and needing help at school to be able to learn.
