Award-winning Indie Shorts The Rochester Opera House joins together with the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts to present Film Shorts, the latest edition of the RMFA independent film series. The evening showcases sixteen innovative, award-winning indie shorts by filmmakers from around the globe. Included in the selection: The computer animated short Wildlife Crossing by artist/animator Noro Drziak and Anthony Wong, a character animator working at Pixar Animation Studios; Prospect, which premiered at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival; and more, such as The Artists, The Black Hole, Life is Beautiful, Clinic Bubblegum, Much Better Now and Living with Jigsaw. The bi-annual celebration of movie-making excellence brings together film enthusiasts, filmmakers and artists to discover the best in contemporary cinema. The presentation, at the Rochester Opera House begins with a cocktail hour at 7:00 PM. The screening is set up as an informal forum to enjoy film and to engage in lively discussion at film end.
