SUBMIT AN ORGANIZATION FOR NONPROFIT OF THE YEAR

The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce is pleased to begin accepting nominations for the 2027 Annual Awards Celebration. These life-changing nominations show often missed recognition to incredible businesses, non-profits, educators, and citizens in the Greater Rochester Area. The Nonprofit of the Year Award recognizes a nonprofit organization that has made a lasting and meaningful impact on the Greater Rochester community through its service and commitment. The 2027 Deadline for this award is Friday, March 12th, 2027.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR NONPROFIT OF THE YEAR

Nominees may be submitted by others or through self-nomination. To be eligible, the nonprofit must: Be an active nonprofit organization and a member in good standing of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce; Demonstrate excellence in its mission, leadership, and service to the community; Have made a significant and measurable impact benefiting the Greater Rochester community; Show a strong commitment to serving others and improving the quality of life in the region; Have contributions and achievements that hold current significance, even if those efforts span multiple years. Please note: Previous award recipients are not eligible. This award will not be presented posthumously.

NOMINATION SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Please complete this form and submit it as the cover page of your nomination. Include a separate attachment outlining the Nonprofits distinguished accomplishments and the reasons for their nomination. Supporting documentation must also be included and should highlight: Organization overview or mission; Impact and contributions to the industry and/or community; Community involvement and engagement; Awards, honors, or recognitions received; Three (3) letters of recommendation; Please note: Nominations lacking sufficient detail or supporting documentation may not be considered. If a nominee is not selected this year, their nomination will automatically remain under consideration for the following two years.
