SUBMIT A BUSINESS FOR BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce is pleased to begin accepting nominations for the 2027 Annual Awards Celebration. These life-changing nominations show often missed recognition to incredible businesses, non-profits, educators, and citizens in the Greater Rochester Area. The Business Of The Year Award honors a Chamber member in good standing that demonstrates outstanding business excellence, leadership, and meaningful contributions to both its industry and the Greater Rochester community. The 2027 Deadline for this award is Friday, March 12th, 2027.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

Nominees may be submitted by others or through self-nomination. To be eligible, the business must: Be an active business and a member in good standing of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce; Demonstrate excellence, leadership, and innovation within its industry and the local business community; Actively participate in and support the Chamber, the business community, and the greater Rochester area; Show a commitment to community involvement beyond its business operations and Chamber activities; Have made contributions that hold current significance, even if those efforts span multiple years. Please note: Previous award recipients are not eligible. This award will not be presented posthumously.

NOMINATION SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Please complete this form and submit it as the cover page of your nomination. Include a separate attachment outlining the Businesses distinguished accomplishments and the reasons for their nomination. Supporting documentation must also be included and should highlight: Business overview or mission; Impact and contributions to the industry and/or community; Community involvement and engagement; Awards, honors, or recognitions received; Three (3) letters of recommendation Please note: Nominations lacking sufficient detail or supporting documentation may not be considered. If a nominee is not selected this year, their nomination will automatically remain under consideration for the following two years.
