The Monarch School of New England is pleased to announce its second annual Wellness Fair, on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, from 4 to 6 p.m. The fair will take place at the Monarch School of New England Regional High School and Vocational Center at 13 Monarch Way, off of Eastern Avenue, in Rochester. All are welcome at this free event. Focused on resources for individuals with disabilities, their families, and the community, the event supports a holistic view of wellness. The Monarch School of New England’s philosophy is to provide unlimited possibilities for students with special needs. This event is designed to bring together organizations that will provide supports and services to maintain life-long health and physical fitness, so that individuals with disabilities can lead active, productive lives and reach their fullest potential. Nearly 20 organizations that promote physical health, recreational opportunities, social-emotional well-being, care for caregivers, and medical care will be represented. The Monarch School of New England is a nonprofit, specialized, day school for students with significant disabilities between the ages of 5 and 21. Based in Rochester, the school works with students from across New Hampshire and southern Maine.
