Groovechild exploded onto the early 90s scene with an out-of-the-ordinary rock/funk/jazz sound. With the amazing playing of guitarist Bryan Killough and the powerful vocals of Jeff Bibbo creating their signature sound, the band welcomes longtime bassist Nate Edgar (Nth Power, John Brown?s Body) and gifted drummer Nikki Glaspie (Nth Power, Dumpstafunk) to the line-up. Glaspie has also performed with Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye West, the Neville Brothers, Maceo Parker and George Michael. On the verge of releasing their first new studio album in many years, Groovechild?s appearance on our stage will be the only performance in the area this summer.
