This year’s event provides a compelling look at media messages that today’s teenager is bombarded with and how HAVEN’s research-based Safe Kids Strong Teens program explores the link between interpersonal violence and its impact on relationships and self-esteem. Highlights of our Consent, Awareness, Respect and Empathy (C.A.R.E) classroom program will also be shared including data which shows a significant positive change in knowledge and attitudes regarding victim blaming and healthy relationships. This event will also feature guest speakers Dana Hillard, the Mayor of Somersworth and Lori Arsenault, a School Counselor in Farmington. A full breakfast and time for networking will also be included!
