A free family fun event on Rochester Common with food, music, performances, free caricatures and more!
By using our stage, we can be a "voice;" creating awareness for the community to the vast resources available to them with regard to homelessness, food insecurities, domestic violence, substance use and mental illness; those identified as some of the biggest needs in our community.
While the music is performed by several Nationally recognized Christian recording artists, our goal is to NOT make this just another Christian Music festival, but a Day of HOPE where ALL people feel welcome. I am painfully aware of these needs in my community of Rochester, as I have worked as the Medical Director at the Strafford County Jail for the past 18 years and an ED/ICU nurse for 25 years prior.
Along with the phenomenal music of several bands (including our local talent); we will have food trucks, merchandise vendors, raffles, kid activities, and a caricature artist (big hit last year). The day will feature premier speakers and booths/tables from several area organizations that are providing these services in our communities, such as Way Point, Share Fund, Teen Challenge, Family Justice Center and more; with the ultimate plan to nurture the interest of the community to get involved.
