Celebrate the kick off to the holiday season downtown Rochester!

\n6th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

\nWatch as the magical downtown tree is lit for the first time for the 2016 holiday season. Those who attend will also enjoy many other festivities throughout the evening.

\nActivities The Evening Include:
\nA reading of T'\;was the Night Before Christmas by Mayor Caroline McCarley\;
\nCookie decorating at the Chamber office courtesy of Rochester Child Care Center\;
\nCookies and hot chocolate provided by Citizens Bank\;
\nNativity Scene Photo Booth courtesy of The Commons Church\;
\nDance performances by Studio 109 Dance\, Voice &\; Drama and
\nA special visit from Santa at Federal Savings Bank
\n \;
In conjunction with the Tree Lighting\, there will be a collection taking place to
\nbenefit children at the Homeless Center for Strafford County

Items to be donated are:
\nNew books (for ages 8-17)
\nNew Puzzles (for ages 12+)
\nPaper Towels
\nToilet Paper
\nThese items can be dropped off at the Holiday Tree Lighting event or items can be brought to Service Credit Union branches in Rochester located at 90 South Main Street and 116 Farmington Road (Inside Walmart) or the Chamber of Commerce office through December 16\, 2016.
