DESCRIPTION:This year's professional conference is an extension of Sexual Assault Support Services ongoing commitment to offering trauma informed services to its clients and to facilitating community education and development.  \n\nThe hope of SASS is that by deepening our collective understanding and application of the neuroscience and theory of contemplative practices and trauma sensitive yoga will help both the therapeutic and yoga communities continue to expand evidence based opportunities for trauma recovery in our community at large. Please join us!\n\n\n\nAttendee's will have the opportunity to participate in the following presentations:  \n\n\n\nTrauma\, Neuroscience and Contemplative Interventions: Understanding Satisfaction\, Seeking and Embodiment as the Key Brain Circuitries in Suffering and Healing. Presented by James Hopper\, PhD. \n\n\n\nTrauma Sensitive Yoga in the Studio and Therapy Room.
