Cornerstone VNA is proud to announce the popular Caregivers Connect series, underwritten by Federal Savings Bank continues with a “Take Care to Give Care” event in May. This free event will be held at the Governor’s Inn in Rochester from 1:30 pm – 5 pm on May 4th and will focus on caregiving for a loved one.
Trained staff and volunteers from Cornerstone VNA will be providing on-site respite care, in a safe and welcoming environment, for caregivers who wish to attend the event. Featured presentations include; Crisis Management & Dementia “Preparing for the Unexpected” with Ann Marie Olsen-Hayward, LICSW, Geriatric Psychiatry, Frisbie Memorial Hospital; “Practical Tips for Caregiving” with Jenna Arsenault, RN, MSW, Behavioral Health Nurse, Cornerstone VNA, and “Relaxation Techniques for Caregivers” with Julie McCabe, MSW, LICSW, Licensed Social Worker, Cornerstone VNA.
