Service Credit Union Promotes L'Italien

Service Credit Union is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Shari L’Italien as Chief Internal Audit. L’Italien previously served as the credit union’s audit manager since 2005 and the Audit Department’s assistant manager from 1999 to 2005. A longtime resident of the Seacoast area, L’Italien has worked for Service Credit Union for 34 years in various positions.

In her new role as CIA, she will manage a department of six. Her primary responsibilities will include planning and conducting financial and operational audits to determine compliance with credit union policies and procedures, state and federal laws and contractual requirements, reviewing all audit assignments and documenting performance of certain credit union functions. Her department’s primary mission is to ensure the safety and security of our members’ financial information.
