Service Credit Union recently introduced its Community Special promotion, giving members 4% back on their grocery expenses from now until the end of the year.

Service Credit Union members can buy groceries and receive a 4% discount when they use their Service Credit Union Visa Credit Card.  The promotion is in support of Market Basket customers and the communities Service Credit Union serves, according to Service Credit Union President/CEO Gordon Simmons.

In addition, Service Credit Union will award members and those who become members a $100 Visa gift card when they transfer $2,500 or more in loan balances from another financial institution to a Service Credit Union Visa Credit Card. These offers are valid for current and new account holders in New England.

“Since Service Credit Union draws its strength and growth from its loyal membership, we are excited and proud to give back to our members with these community specials,” says Simmons. “We want to do our part as some in the area may be spending more on groceries. This will help them cover some of those costs.”

Service Credit Union is a full service financial institution with more than 190,000 members worldwide, offering a wide range of financial products to its members.  With 44 branch locations including two staffed 24/7 contact centers, and full internet banking services, Service Credit Union serves anyone who lives or works in New Hampshire (excluding Coos County), 4 towns in Cape Cod, MA., and all branches of the U.S. Military and Department of Defense employees and their families.
