Run with SASS!
Runners of all experience levels invited to an Info Night for SASS’s 5K Training Team on April 21st
Non-profit crisis agency, SASS, is searching for runners of all experience levels to join its’ 5K Training Team and will hold a special Info Night for those interested on Monday, April 21st from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Portsmouth Public Libraries, Hilton Garden Inn Room.
The SASS 5K Training Team is a perfect opportunity for those who have also never trained for a 5K as they will take part in a 6-week training program leading up to SASS’s 7th Annual 5K to Keep Kids SAFE on Sunday, June 8th at Martin’s Point Health Care at Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth, NH.
By joining the SASS Training Team, all participants receive free race registration and training with Certified Running Coach, Jack Davis. As the team trains together they also become part of the agency’s mission to keep kids safe from violence by fundraising $200 or more towards SASS’s Safe Kids Strong Teens, classroom education program.
The Info Night will cover the 5k training program, registering to join the team and SASS’s mission to keep kids safe. Refreshments will also be provided compliments of Flatbread Portsmouth.
