The Rochester Opera House is pleased to announce the award of a $10,000 grant for program support for the 2014/2015 season from the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, as part of the Foundation's commitment to giving back to the local community.

"The Charitable Foundation believes that organizations such as the Rochester Opera House play a significant role in sustaining vibrant and thriving communities," said Steve Webb, Market President, TD Bank.  "The Rochester Opera House brings a positive economic impact to downtown Rochester, while enriching the community with an impressive schedule of educational programming for families and children, and we are extremely proud to support it.”

“With three consecutive grant awards, we greatly thank the TD Charitable Foundation for partnering with us in support of our mission to maintain and to build the Arts for All legacy of the Rochester Opera House.  This multi-year investment in this historic theatre has tremendously contributed to our growth during the past two seasons and the top-quality line-up of performances scheduled of the 201/2015 season” says Managing Director Susan Page.

The Rochester Opera House organization is focused on maintaining and enhancing diverse, high quality and affordable educational and entertaining programming for adults, families, children and teens in the Rochester region and throughout New England.  In addition to presenting performances from regional and national artists, the Rochester Opera House in-house production company (ROH Productions) contracts with professional regional actors, directors, musicians, choreographers and technicians to present Broadway musicals and plays in the award-winning Theatre Series.
