Rochester Opera House Features United State Air Force Band

Langley Winds of the USAF Heritage of America Band at the Rochester Opera House on November 10, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public, however, tickets are required to attend due to space limitations.  Tickets can be picked up at Foster’s Daily Democrat, 150 Venture Dr., Dover during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) starting on October 20.

Langley Winds features the diverse talents of professional Airman�musicians whose commitment to excellence has earned worldwide acclaim and military distinction. Langley Winds presents polished and passionate performances of the woodwind ensemble literature as well as transcriptions and patriotic favorites. Enjoy hearing these virtuosic orchestral solo instruments in an intimate chamber music setting.

Activated in 1941, The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band has a rich history of inspiring public patriotism and enhancing esprit de corps among all the US military service branches. These world�class musicians are stationed at Joint Base Langley�Eustis in Hampton, Virginia. They travel throughout the Mid�Atlantic region, presenting over 300 events annually for the general public and in support of Airman morale and protocol events. The USAF Heritage of America Band remains at the forefront of communicating Air Force core values and preserving and enriching America's military and musical heritage into the 21st century.
