Rochester Main Street would like to thank all of those who decorated their storefronts and windows for the fall season to bring a bit of color to the downtown area. This year’s theme was “Fall with The Addams Family, in honor of the upcoming Rochester Opera House Musical running October 16 through November 2. Judging took place Thursday and the blue ribbon winner was Studley’s Flower Gardens at 82 Wakefield Street with a whimsical rendition of Gomez and Morticia Addams in the garden in front of their store. Picking up a second place ribbon was RiverStones Custom Framing at 44 North Main Street with their large scale portrait of the The Addams Family. Dos Amigos Burritos at 15 Wakefield Street came in a close third with a customer seated in the front dressed as Cousin IT. The judges also wished to especially mention Bernier Insurance on Wakefield Street who always set the tone for the seasons with their spectacular displays.
