Northeast Credit Union recently participated with 93.5 WMWV radio station for its 13th Annual Food Drive. The Mount Washington Radio/Vaughan Community Services Annual Food Drive was a 12-hour food drive that was held from 6:00am to 6:00pm. During this time, food was collected to help stock depleted food pantries. According to organizers seven different pantries in the Greater Mount Washington Valley will see donations from the drive which is aimed at helping those less fortunate especially during the holiday season. Donations are still being tallied today, although organizers say 553 frozen turkeys were collected.
