Over the past five years, the Rochester Opera House has introduced hundreds of children of all ages to the wonders of the performing arts on the city’s historic stage.

Theatre Camp is a joyous hands-on experience offering lessons in acting, dancing, singing, production, costuming, and more.  Students also have the opportunity to learn theatre techniques through fun games, improvisation, and enriching theatre-related arts & crafts, and more.

Although no theatre experience is required, students will work to showcase their theatre skills for an evening performance on the final day of camp for family, friends, and the public.

The Rochester Opera House is now accepting registrations for April Vacation Camp as well as Summer Theatre Camp at the Box Office, in City Hall.  Registration forms and camp dates and times can be found on the Opera House website.

The Rochester Opera House is sponsored by TD Bank North, Eastern Propane, Shaheen & Gordon P.A., and Norm Vetter Foundations.  Theatre Camp is sponsored by Bank of NH, Liberty Mutual, and The Ridge.  The Rochester Opera House is located in City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester NH.  Visit www.RochesterOperaHouse.com for more information.
