The massage therapy clinic is currently open at Great Bay Community College’s Portsmouth campus.  Starting on September 2nd, members of the general public can make an appointment for a 55 minute massage provided by a student enrolled in the College’s Massage Therapy Associate Degree or Certificate Program.  Established as a learning facility, the massage therapy clinic offers a professional setting for students to practice proper techniques including Swedish massage, sports massage, myofascial release, acupressure and hot stone massage. Massage Therapy has become integral to conventional healthcare and is frequently used in sports medicine, hospitals, physical therapy, physicians’ offices, as well as in the chiropractic offices, spa/resort settings, gyms, and acupuncture clinics.

Appointments for the fall are available each week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  Hours vary and customers are encouraged to call (603) 427-7646 or to check the clinic website www.greatbay.edu/massageclinic for appointment times.

The cost of a 55 minute massage is five dollars for Great Bay Community College Students (with a valid student ID) and $30 for the general public.  The clinic is located in room NW128 at Great Bay Community College’s Portsmouth Campus at the Pease Tradeport.
