November 14, 2014
Great Bay Community College is honored to feature the work of New Hampshire Illustrator and graphic artist Libby Chase from November 17, 2014-January 30, 2015 entitled Love Art Live Art. The exhibition will be featured in The Gateway Gallery on the college's Portsmouth campus. The exhibition will include original illustrations from a book “A Tail of Two Kitties” written by her brother, Eddie Moore as well as other works. This endeavor was made possible by enlisting the help of Kickstarter and social media.

Libby is a free-lance designer and illustrator who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Plymouth State University and her Master of Science in Graphic Design from Pratt Institute in NY. Her design work ranges from creating small logos to package design, web design, brochures and booth displays.  She also teaches Art and Design at Great Bay Community College as well as at other local New Hampshire colleges.
Great Bay Community College will be hosting an opening reception for the new exhibit on Tuesday November 18 from 5-7 PM, sponsored and catered by the Green Bean.  At the reception Ms. Chase will share her experience using crowd sourcing to fund her book project. Signed copies of the book will be available for sale.

The gallery is located in the atrium entrance of Great Bay Community College and is open during regular college operating hours. Guests are encouraged to sign the guest book at the gallery.
