Bank of New Hampshire’s Prestige Plus Members Celebrate the New Year at the Tournament of Roses Parade!

Laconia, New Hampshire – January 20, 2017 – Bank of New Hampshire’s Prestige Plus customers rang in the New Year in style at the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California!

Highlights included: ● Pre-Parade Float Decoration Viewing ● Bandfest ● New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner Dance ● San Diego ● Post Tour Excursion to Las Vegas

Valerie Drouin, SVP - Prestige Plus Manager stated, “This tour has been on Bank of New Hampshire’s bucket list since the program’s inception 27 years ago.”

The tour began in the beautiful city of Los Angeles.  Members enjoyed a free day to take optional tours in and around the city. Some of the tour choices included; Inside Historic Hollywood, The Queen Mary, Long Beach Aquarium and Disneyland.

Drouin went on the say, “Prestige Plus members traveled from Los Angeles to Pasadena to take in the excitement of the holiday season with fun-filled activities surrounding the Tournament of Roses Parade.  The group experienced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view the floats up close and personal during their final stage of decoration.  Next, they attend Bandfest which featured select bands from all over the county who were chosen to perform in the parade.  These talented musicians, dancers and auxiliary performers presented extremely impressive choreographed routines.”

Prestige Plus members celebrated New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles at a Gala Dinner Dance with live entertainment and champagne.

Drouin stated, “The highlight of our New Year’s Celebration was of course the Tournament of Roses parade, a grand tradition since 1890.  More than one million spectators lined the parade route.  However, our Prestige Plus members drove directly to our reserved bleacher seats for easy access and prime viewing. The Rose Parade consisted of 43 floats and 21 marching bands.  It is seen by millions on televisions worldwide in more than 100 international territories and countries.”

After the parade the group departed Pasadena and traveled to California’s second largest city, San Diego. A local guide gave Prestige Plus members a comprehensive tour through the city’s diverse neighborhoods.  The following day members enjoyed time on their own to explore many of the historic and scenic sights this beautiful city offers.

As the tour ended, some members chose to extend their trip and visited Las Vegas for a 3-day
2-night post tour extension.

“We plan all of our trips months in advance and customize them to meet the needs of our valued Prestige Plus members,” stated Drouin. “With 27 years of experience in the bank travel industry, our customers know when they sign up for a trip the quality will be unsurpassed. Our Prestige Plus Travel program was recognized as one of the top bank programs in the country.  We plan and arrange these trips as a way to thank our members for choosing Bank of New Hampshire.”
