DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, Dec. 15\n\nDoors open at 6pm / Show starts approximately 7pm\n\nTickets $8\, available at www.CastleNH.com/upcoming-events.html\n\nLast year was a blast so let's do it again!\n\nGet down to some serious blues and bluesy-rock at the last bash just before The Castle on Charles closes for the cold winter.  Longtime seacoast blues legend Sharon Jones returns with her fabulous five-piece R & B band to groove out everyone's favorites in the acoustic abundance of The Castle.\n\nSharon and her band will perform holiday and 'old school' hits by Aretha Franklin\, Marvin Gaye\, Al Green\, Stevie Wonder\, Credence Clearwater Revival\, the Doobie Brothers\, BB King\, Chuck Berry\, Mavin Staples and Steely Dan.\n\nA New England musical legacy\, Sharon Jones has performing throughout Boston\, the Northeast and New York. Named a 'Portsmouth Gem' by Spotlight magazine\, Sharon 'sings sugar' with high-energy music provided by her new\, talented ensemble: Mark Michaels on guitar & vocals\, John Gabay on bass\, Eddie Raczkay on percussion and perhaps Carl Retuci on keys. Previously known as 'Sharon Jones and the State Street Rythm & Blues Band\, " Sharon's new band is new music and all new energy.   For this show the Tavern will open at 6pm with drinks\, apps & sandwiches. The party goes until 11pm!\n\nFood concession will include an appetizer board\, Caesar salad and a hearty Castle bowl of beef stew over rice.\n\nAdvance tickets recommended to have a seat - this is one popular party!
