DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the kick off to the holiday season downtown Rochester!\n\nJoin the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce as they present the 4th annual Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony\, underwritten by Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Watch as Mayor Thomas "T.J." Jean lights the magical downtown tree for the first time for the 2014 holiday season. Those who attend will also enjoy many other festivities throughout the evening including carolers\, hot chocolate\, dance performances\, cookie decorating\, a visit from Santa Claus\, downtown specials and more! Main and Hanson Streets\n\nVisit With Santa at Federal Savings Bank\n\nDowntown Merchant Specials\n\nIn conjunction with the Holiday Tree Lighting\, a collection of children's items for the Homeless Center for Strafford County will be conducted\, sponsored by Service Credit Union. \n\nItems to be donated are:\n\nSmall Stuffed Animals\,\n\nNew books (for ages 8-17) and\n\nNew Puzzles (for ages 12+).\n\nThese items can be dropped off at the Holiday Tree Lighting event or items can be brought to Service Credit Union branches in Rochester located at 90 South Main Street and 116 Farmington Road (Inside Walmart) or the Chamber of Commerce office through December 18\, 2014.\n\n\n\nFor more information on the Holiday Tree Lighting\, please contact the Chamber office at 603-332-5080 or email events@rochesternh.org.
